In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which starts tomorrow, this week is all about pink! Starting with this fun wedding from Ann-Kathrin Koch…

Says the bride, “Babington House is a private member country club and part of the Soho House group. This meant having the entire house and beautiful grounds all to ourselves on the wedding day! On top of that, Somerset is a lovely part of the countryside not far from London so it was ideal for anyone traveling to and from the wedding. There is also a spa and every single room inside Babington House is simply gorgeous.”

Bridesmaids wore fuchsia dresses from Two Birds – each dress can be twisted and wrapped and tied to be worn in fifteen different ways!

The couple paused for a quick sip of champagne after the ceremony.

Photographer, Ann-Kathrin Koch, describes the weather that day: “It was a very typical English day in May, raining almost all day with heavy wind gusts. The grounds of Babington House are so beautiful and I know how much Jo wanted to enjoy the outside. While it was too cold and rainy to go outside for cocktail hour Babington House more than made up for that. The stunning light-filled rooms were the best alternative to sipping champagne on the lawn that anyone could ask for…

…when we seized the one dry opportunity to run outside for a quick portrait session under the flowering cherry-blossom tree I knew Jo didn’t mind the weather at all anymore.”

Playful details were a fun juxtaposition to the formal venue: striped favor bags, bottles and jars full of flowers… Jo works for Virgin Atlantic so escort cards were boarding passes and there were even two flight attendants (in uniform) to direct guests to their seats!
