I guess serendipity equals a stress free wedding.  I mean setting a great date, finding the right gown, choosing your perfect colors, venue, photographer, and perfect little details that really make the day special can bring a little stress even to the calmest couples.  But for Katy + Jon, things just fell into place like the stars align for a rare blue moon.  Knowing the Sonoma location and a photographer were most important in creating a wedding weekend kismet led them to Jack London Lodge and Adeline and Grace Photography who couldn’t have provided more gorgeous backdrop and photos.   After years of sticking together their big day fell on their exact 10 year anniversary.  Get this!  They even got married on the night of a blue moon!

I am completely smitten with this color palette. It may be one my fall favorites, and so well executed by this true do-it-together style wedding.  Friends, and family pitched in to create all of the floral arrangement, hair and makeup.  Groom Jon handmade the trellis that they were married under and even assembled it onsite!  Bride Katy didn’t just leave it all to her pals.  She got in on the action crafting the entrance wreath, directional signs, jewelry for her bridesmaids, and wine charms.  Even the three year old flower girl got to decorate her basket!

Everything about Katy + Jon’s big day just fell into place like a good hair day.  And just like a good hair hair day I can’t stop admiring the ease and beauty of each little detail.  Thank you Adeline and Grace Photography for sharing this fun-filled fall perfection.  Congratulations Katy and Jon!
