We witnessed an onslaught of hats being worn at their wedding. Victoria Beckham, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice whose hat sold for 81,100 euros were some of the famous hat wearers. The Royals I admit have hat wearing down to a science. However, brides and guests are looking to the Royals to give them inspiration for their own weddings. Wearing a wedding hat isn’t something kept for the elite. Both bride and guests can transform their traditional style into something that gives them even more personality. But let me give you a few wedding hat rules. 1. Always check the invitation to see what the dress code is. 2. Wear something that’s suitable for the occasion. You must be comfortable in what it is that you are going to wear. 3. There is a big difference from wearing a wedding hat and wearing a hat for the polo tournament. Keep it small as no one wants to fight to see the ceremony from behind your hat. 4. Bigger isn’t always better as stated above. If the event is outdoors have enough hat to cover you from the sun.
