A Romantic Winter Wedding In Montreal, Quebec

A Romantic Winter Wedding In Montreal, Quebec

Five weeks—that’s how long Nadia and Mike had to plan their winter wonderland wedding. “I’m from Morocco and Mike is from Quebec City,” Nadia explains. “We always knew we wanted to have a wedding that would represent both of our cultures. Since we already had a traditional Moroccan ceremony in the summer of 2012, we spontaneously decided to invite family and friends for an unconventional winter wedding in the snow.” With just over a month to pull it off, the pair made their dream day a beautiful one, which was trimmed in pearls, feathers, fur, crystal, snowflakes, bubbles and flying lanterns. “We exchanged vows at the ice chapel and although the temperature was below zero, it felt oddly warm, personal and cozy,” Nadia describes. “We could feel the love from our closest friends and family who gathered to celebrate with us at such short notice.”
