“Radiant Orchid blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple—one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health.” WOW! All of this to describe the magic that Pantone found in Radiant Orchid? Emerald was the 2013 Color of the Year. But as 2014 quickly approaches, Radiant Orchid stands up as the new color in town. As Event Planners we love dealing with wonderful color palettes that bring excitement to our client’s events. Radiant Orchid is inviting, intriguing and quite charming I would say. Pantone states, “Radiant Orchid enlivens the skin, making all who wear it feel more healthy and energetic.” Ideally this is a color for those under 30 as this color can be a bit bold for a more sophisticated age group…maybe. Each year Pantone reaches to the ends of the world to discover what the next color will be. But how did they get there? Watch this video from Pantone Color Institute, Exec. Director, Leatrice Eiseman. What does one color have to do with District Fete Planning our events? So glad you asked. It has a lot to do with event planning. From the color of your bridemaids dress to the design of your fundraiser, Radiant Orchid will be the color seen throughout 2014.
