The inspiration for today’s beautiful styled shoot stemmed from a XVII century still nature, spotted by the stylist, Christina, as well as the shoot’s gorgeous venue, an Italian building of archeological industry. To give the setting a holiday feel, the team brought in an array of festive design elements + layered in dramatic Christmas colors like gold + red. And an abundance of candlelight gave the tables a cozy + theatrical warmth that I just love…

From Christina, Our bride was unconventional – her tattoos, her bob and her make-up created a contrast with the elegant embroidered dresses by Uel Camilo. She was like a theatre’s actress ready for the show. We used traditional European plates, flatware and glasses that had a slight Bohemian touch. And the centerpieces were composed by candles placed in transparent bottles, plus floral arrangements, by Il profumo dei fiori, crafted from amarillis, dahlias, orchids, garden roses, myrtle, pomegranates and tillantia. 

We’re sure these images by Cinzia Bruschini, which perfectly capture the dark + romantic vibe of the shoot, will inspire those of you planning a wedding or celebration with a sophisticated, theatrical feel.

The candlesticks, placed in collected bottles varying in size, would be such an easy DIY that would have a gorgeous impact on your tablescape!

The beautiful calligraphy, by Betty Soldi, adds a lovely, artful element.

And the sweets table featured holiday-inspired treats by Nana&Nana Cakes as well as festive gold oreos! :)
