May, June, July and September are the most expensive and popular time to get married. You can shave 20 to 30 percent off the cost of a wedding by planning it for November, or January through March. A Saturday wedding will be much more costly than a Friday or Sunday wedding because it is the most popular day of the week for weddings. Opting for a wedding on a day other than Saturday is a great way to spend less, while still having the wedding you want.
