When I think of Claire Pettibone, I think of fairies. Whether they exist or not, claire's flair for flowers and all things flurry with a crush on romantic vintage-inspired gowns. The new spring collection from Claire Pettibone has all her usual design charm. The collection's name Decoupage (from the French word 'to cut') suggests the traditional art of layering paper cutouts over themselves to decorate chests, ceramics and other objects. Inspired to layer chantilly, guipure, silk and vintage lace in her latest creations, she describes it as 'an heirloom collection of wedding gowns.'
