Given the high cost of wedding photos, we're guessing the bride thought otherwise:

Apparently, there's a long, storied tradition of groomsmen pulling this prank on unsuspecting husbands-to-be. Sometimes, the grooms even scribble the message on their shoes themselves. Here's a version of the prank Redditor badfishnow's dad pulled at his wedding decades ago:

"Needless to say, my mom's parents were PISSED at the wedding," the Redditor said.

Somehow we're not surprised.
