A black and white wedding sounds so perfect when you are planning. Easy even. LBDs for the bridesmaids, all-white bouquets, it's simple. But then you get to the cake. And if you are a black and white purist and the darkest of chocolates just isn't dark enough, you have some decisions to make. Some brides love a little black frosting accents, and some don't. To start with, pick out some cute cupcake flags and liners. They will help the continuity of your theme, no matter what cake you decide on.

As for the decor, you can go with something non-edible, like the ribbon bows shown above.

Or you can embrace the black frosting as little or as much as you like. I think these all-black cupcakes (below) are pretty darn sophisticated.
