Elegant bride Libby and dashing groom Paul tied the knot in an intimate and fabulous wedding held in their home garden. This glamorous Johannesburg Wedding was something from a different world, a more charmed time, something that was timeless, classic and spoke of an old world glamour, similar to this Pink and Ivory Vintage Wedding {Johannesburg}, another garden wedding held in the City of Gold.

Luscious florals and decadent decor stylishly littered the tables of Libby and Paul's wedding, while the flickering of candlelight kept the romance of the occasion alive! Alana Meyer was their to capture their gorgeousness that unfolded at their garden wedding celebration!

Fabulously Glamorous Vintage White Wedding Look

(Left) Glamorous Vintage White Bridal Look: Her wedding gown was a vintage inspired gold and beige creation crafted from delicate lace, which gave Libby an ethereal bridal look. Reminiscent of the Gatsby era, her dress featured cap-sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a tiered skirt. Libby's hair was swept up into an elegant updo for a timeless look.

(Above) Glamorous Vintage White Wedding Bouquet and Shoes: Libby's bouquet was a classic arrangement of white blooms and green foliage. She wore a stunning pair of peep-toe glitter Jimmy Choo heels.

Fabulously Glamorous Vintage White Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was held outdoors among towering trees and plants in their garden. The couple chose poems, prayers and music that represented their individual beliefs and traditions.

(Above) Glamorous Vintage White Wedding Chuppa: Their Chuppa was home-made. It was a beautiful tapestry sewn by a community Art project in Hamburg. The tapestry was originally Libby brother's duvet cover, which was transformed into their beautiful Chuppa.

The Tale Of Their Proposal

Libby shares their special Christmas engagement: Paul proposed on Christmas Day surrounded by my family. He had hidden the ring among my Christmas presents and when I found it he proposed saying that he had wanted to ask me to marry him, while being surrounded by the people I love most in the world.

Fabulously Glamorous Vintage White Wedding Reception

Their fabulous wedding reception was also hosted outdoors beneath a tented area that was lavishly adorned in flowers, foliage and decadently decorated white tables.

(Above) Glamorous Vintage White Wedding Decor: The wedding décor had a classic style too with plenty of candles to create a romantic candlelit evening reception. Eclectic place settings and old world candelabras made their outdoor tented wedding reception a special night to remember.
