When Bashir ( a long standing friend) had asked for a huge favor in featuring his brother's engagement shoot, I was a bit excited partly because I haven't really seen an engagement shoot from muslim couples. This would be my first. I have showcased bit of nikaah before but not engagement shoot in the real traditional muslim garb. Pictures of them alone so yeah, I wanted to feature this not just because Bashir wanted it but for all the muslim brothers and sisters out there who would enjoy this for their viewing pleasure.
Oh! I do have the proposal story on how Musa met Rukayya.. (whoooooooo) lol. Wish them well. How cute a pair! xox

MUSA, How He Met RukayyaThe next day I called her and was trying to express myself to her, u know the normal guys stuff she cut me off and said I should go straight to the point. The truth sound bizarre but I just have to let her know. She smiled and said to me I was talking to a wrong person because she was not the person my heart likes, It was her friends picture I saw and I feel awful thinking that maybe she was trying to find a way to turn me down. She then said that she was her good friend and I should not worry Because she will try her best to connect us. After a few days, she fulfilled her promise.I narrate each and everything to him, as matured guys we understood ourselves. As I was thinking of her the whole night because of the way we chat and talk on phone, though we didn't meet. I told her what I felt for her and you knew naturally girls will always tell you they are in a relationship. That's how it continues until I was able to convince her to meet. I can't forget 7th of january, 2013 around 5pm the day we first met and guess what happened, LOVE at first sight. And here we are now and our marriage will take place on the 1st of march, 2014 by God grace" I didn't make the call because I was kind of confuse. On that very day she call me to ask whether I make the call and I told her NO. She insisted, just trying to proof her self. I promise her I'll do just to make her feel comfortable but deep inside me I was falling for her, can you imagine that. After the conversation, we exchanged BBM pin. I shared her with my friend studying abroad and he was kind of confuse that how did I knew her, she was the girl he was telling me the other time.
"It all begins around mid december, 2012 when I was going through my notifications on facebook. I then came across her status with a new profile picture on it, the picture was awesome and as of that moment, my heart likes her nd my soul accepted her. I don't know how it really happens because it just came to me like an intuition or to say a revelation. Later on in the night, I was chatting with a friend bearing the same other name with her, Kilgori nd I narrated everything to her. She then smiled and told me that they were cousins, she was kind of inquiring whether I really like her cousin after all she draft her number in my inbox.
