Hanging Floral Installations for Weddings-Gallery Spotlight

Hanging Floral Installations for Weddings-Gallery Spotlight

Each week we focus on one spectacular gallery from our Ideas section. We hope that these galleries inspire you in creating your own unique wedding vision. This week's selection comes from Bold American Events Design.

We are crazy about this new trend of hanging floral installations. Completely over-the-top glam and utterly gorgeous, hanging installations not only serve as a dramatic alternative to centerpieces, but also transform the room.

What most of these examples do really well is create a bold statement by using a lot of color. For example, the black and white table linens and orange chairs and candles create a beautiful palette, but add the bright orange flowers above and it is totally breathtaking.

This coral rose wrap around installation is totally original and ideal for a modern "Seuss-ian" or Wonderland wedding, right?

This yellow tulip installation seems to completely defy gravity, as the flowers appear to be blooming from the ceiling! And as you see in this example, the couple has opted to have this installation at one end of the very large ballroom, and then use yellow centerpieces throughout.

I think that this one may be my favorite, with its rich, bountiful flowers and autumnal palette. And this type of installation is perfect if you are doing one long family-style table.

This last installation is meant for an altar, but could be for an outdoor reception. It's romantic and pretty in shades of white and green. At night, you just know those candles look amazing!
