"American Dream Builders" host Nate Berkus spoke at length about his forthcoming wedding to fiancé Jeremiah Brent as well as the couple's groundbreaking Banana Republic campaign in a new HuffPost Live interview this week.

"We're both really happy," Berkus said of his relationship with Brent. As for planning the wedding, which is currently set for May, he added, "It's been great just understanding more about each other as we go through this process and we're both really excited."

As for his decision to join Brent in Banana Republic's " True Outfitters" campaign, which featured models who are also real-life couples, Berkus said, "When we did that, we didn't realize it was such a meaningful political moment. The fact that they choose us ... is really incredible."

Berkus popped the question to Brent in April 2013 while visiting Peru's Machu Picchu.
