The Spring Green Issue: The Fashion

Written by: louise

I'm feeling super happy after your amazing reaction to our latest Style Guide launched earlier this month. The b.team and I worked hard to embrace freshness & clean contemporary style in our Spring Greens shoot, and I'm thrilled you're loving it so far! If you missed the décor & the details you can catch up here {you'll just love Olofson Design's updated naked cake!!}.

This week we're taking a look at the fashion, styled by our b.team bridal experts from Luella's Boudoir and Maids to Measure. Our stunning bride wears Otaduy's Valentina. The beautifully delicate English garden-esque lace works perfectly with soft green hues, creating a relaxed and natural Spring time theme. Hair stylist Kasia Fortuna created a stunning textured braid with a gently raised softly swept fringe framing the face, and a sprig of fern adding a touch of freshness to the overall look. Her blonde hair reflecting the light; her soft makeup and delicate lace dress create a delicate, fresh spring look.

For the bridesmaid look, we picked the soft green ' Pippa' from Maids to Measure, yes inspired by that dress! It's slim fit creates a stunning silhouette, with the softly draping neckline keeping the look elegant yet fresh. In her hair, a bespoke headpiece of ivory lace set over pale green millinery leaves, from Victoria Millésime ties in with the bridal look. The colour of the pale green millinery leaves was perfect against the beautiful, fresh spring green of the bridesmaid dress. The addition of a bit of colour in the leaves allows the headdress to work as both a bridesmaid or bridal accessory, and the ivory lace looks beautiful against the simple twisted hairdo.

Join us this afternoon for Ana's step-by-step guide to recreating the perfect Spring makeup look.
