Winter wedding in Provence

Winter wedding in Provence

Good Morning Trulovers and Happy Monday! I trust that you all had a wonderful weekend and I hope that you've had chance to take a look at the first #teamamour sneaky peek that I showed last week. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled to the blog, Facebook and instagram as more glimpses into the world of styled shoots coming this week.

As with any destination there are often preconceptions regarding areas in which to get married. Often Paris is the top rated for romance and when it comes to winter weddings, the beautiful South of France and Provence is overlooked. So when today's styled winter wedding in Provence shoot by Studio A+Q popped into my inbox, I was immediately intrigued and jumped at the chance to show off this area that I love so much.

Marta from Studio A & Q takes us through the shoot: " Working and living in the south of France we hardly see the snow in winter, but this year we had some of those perfect winter days, and also a bit of snow combined with the always-so-bright Provencal sun and extraordinary light.

So we came with the idea of a winter bride in Provence, apparently a contradiction, but in fact a beautiful match for someone who is looking for a relaxed wedding off season, but without giving up a beautiful weather. We created two different ambiances, with complementary colour palettes: the first one is bright and romantic with hues like champagne, beige and white, the second one is cosier and warmer, in different shades of red and brown.

The Domaine de Blanche Fleur helped us creating the perfect mood for the session, the lighter atmosphere was shot mainly outdoor in the beautiful garden of the domain, who perfectly matched with the inspiration we were looking for, while the fireplace and the provencal furniture of the bastide created the perfect location for the cosier set. "

What a great start to the weekend and if you are considering a winter wedding in Provence and the surrounding areas, don't forget you can find suppliers in the French Wedding Directory.
