A new week with a renewed love for summer weddings and with help from Arielle Doneson Photography we also fell in love all over again with mismatched bridesmaids dresses. We love the effort that this couple went through to create their special day with good ol' fashioned elbow grease and friends and family providing the cake, veil, location, catering and florals!

From the Bride, Carolyn: " Alex and I were not only blessed with a beautiful evening surrounded by our loved ones, but the days leading up to our wedding were filled with special (albeit sweaty and tiring) times with friends and family as we prepared for our wedding. After scouring Northeastern Ohio for the perfect location, we finally found Century Village, which let me plan the rustic yet elegant wedding I had been dreaming of. We also found the perfect photographer to document everything beautifully, Arielle. From there, we mostly leaned on friends and family to help bring our special day together. Our cake was baked by my maid of Honor, and my something borrowed was her beautiful veil. Our catering was my husband's cousin's business- which meant I was incredibly indulged when it came to creating my menu (macaroni and cheese bar anyone?!). Our bouquets and floral arrangements were organized by a friend and many of our flowers came last minute from my seamstress' backyard! College friends brewed beer and my step-father-in-law's band started off our party with live music. I could go on and on about all the amazing people involved- our family and friends were incredibly generous and thoughtful throughout the whole process! In the end, I have the amazing memories, gorgeous photos, and a husband I am crazy about - that's all a newlywed can ask for!"
