Bridal Accessories: Asymmetrical Flower Crowns

Bridal Accessories: Asymmetrical Flower Crowns

It must be something in the air, but springtime always seems to send me straight back to a perennial favorite in the bridal accessory world: flower crowns. Wild, whimsical and ever so lovely, flower crowns are one of the sweetest adornments to see on a bride. They can represent the prettiest aspects of any season, from evergreen branches in winter to bright roses and anemones in spring and summer months and and only serve to highlight the youthful glow of a woman on her wedding day.

While I'm perpetually thrilled to see this trend return in full force (I'll admit, this isn't the first time we've talked about this type of natural beauty), there's a new spin on the traditional petal-laden headpiece in sight. Dearest brides-to-be, I'd like to introduce you to the asymmetrical flower crown.

Absolutely stunning and just a touch more fanciful than the typical arrangement, asymmetrical flower crowns add a little more variety and an offbeat, slightly eclectic vibe that suits wedding gowns like these and these perfectly. They're also a wonderful excuse to put some extra playfulness into your hairy and makeup (may I recommend a halo braid?). And because I could never bring myself to choose just one to share, I've rounded up crowns with a number of shades, shapes and blooms. Let's all ooh and ahh together now.
