The New Romantic Issue: The Fashion

Written by: louise

Tuesday morning means it's Style Guide time, and if you've already been swooning over this month's New Romantic styling you're in for a treat as we share the absolutely stunning looks created from our b.team fashion team today!

Rachel & her team at Luella's Boudoir picked Charlotte Casadejus' Edie for Kira, our bride. This gorgeously floaty feminine style dress with original vintage lace sleeves and a stunning silver waistband is a pretty combination of a modern bride and classic romanticism, and picked up the touches of sparkle on the table & décor styling.

Vicky from Victoria Millésime designed a bespoke lace headpiece to compliment the detailing of the dress. Beautifully delicate, yet big enough to make a statement the headpiece is made of layers of guipure lace and silver beading, hand embellished with freshwater pearls and delicate ballerina-pink ribbon roses. The pale shades of pink and light silver set over the ivory lace were perfect for this theme, creating the ultimate in sweet, feminine elegance, and looking just stunning against the gorgeous brunette updo.

Maids to Measure's new Vintage Maids Collection got it's very first outing on this shoot! The stunningly pretty Lily in vintage pink is elegant and feminine and the silk like fabric gives a sophisticated feel. The diamond panelling and flattering fit gives a beautiful shape which is romantic and a little bit sexy at the same time. Her look was completed with a set of 3 hairpins made of hand beaded vintage cream lace overlaid with twists of freshwater pearls. The tones blended in perfectly with the pale silk dress and the antique lace and vintage pearls bring out the 1930s feel of the bias-cut dress.
