Oxblood + Cobalt Wedding Inspiration

Vanessa Noel, the talented planner + stylist behind today's ultra pretty shoot, has some solid advice to couples who are just starting sort out the details of their day: Don't fight the venue. Manipulate it. Think outside the box. But don't fight what you're working with! And she took her own advice when designing this fun cobalt + oxblood inspired editorial at Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara, California...

As I wandered around the Riviera Mansion during a site visit, I knew a rich and bold color palette had to be incorporated into this shoot. Deep oxblood textiles and cobalt blue tiles that echo the Spanish architecture are some of the beautiful and dramatic elements of the 100+ year old mansion. I decided to embrace those tones and add wood elements and brass accents to further complement the space.

And the beautiful + unexpected palette, along with the stunning florals by Stella Bloom Designs, look like a dream through the lens of Anna Delores Photography!

This richly-hued, overgrown bouquet was a match made in heaven for the bride's sweetly delicate BHLDN gown.

And the pretty custom paper goods by Manzanita Paperie further echoed the shoot's vibrant theme.

Loving this amaranths + peony garland!

To all of the talented creatives below, thanks so much. This was such great inspiration for couples who want to infuse a unique + beautiful color story into their day!
