Sometimes we get weddings pictures sent to us, that just make us smile, and this dear readers, is one of them.

Low-key and casual, while at the same time glamorous and romantic, Toia and Daniel's stunning Perth, Australia, nuptials are certainly our kind of wedding.

With a gorgeous bride that's beaming from ear to ear, and a groom that can't take his eyes off her, it's hard to feel a flutter of excitement for this charming couple and their beautiful outdoor wedding day.

Photographed in stunning style by CJ Williams Photography, their day was effortlessly styled with lashings of vintage details and rustic charm.

Getting ready in an art deco-style hotel Toia's retro bridal style is breathtaking, a sweet and stylish ballerina style wedding dress, beautiful antique jewels, a chic birdcage veil, and lust-worthy peep-toes.

And Daniel's not to be overlooked with his dashing groom style; a sharp navy suit, gingham shirt and sweet dickie bow.

The entire day is laced with thoughtful details; a journey to the wedding in a black London cab, an intimate al fresco ceremony, gorgeous DIY flowers and favours, and doily bunting and string lights tying the whole look together with atmospheric setting.

This wedding day is just so blooming lovely. We think you'll agree...

The Proposal

We were snorkelling at the beautiful island of Gili T, in Indonesia. A turtle started swimming with us and Damien though that was a sign.He got my attention and pointed down to the bottom of the ocean. I watched him dive down to the bottom and start to swim back with something sparkly. He showed it to me and said "I found you some treasure" whilst putting a beautiful sapphire and diamond art deco style ring on my finger! I had no idea he was nervously clutching at his board shorts pocket the whole time waiting for the perfect moment.....It was absolutely perfect!

Favourite Moment

There's so many to list!... The happy tears my husband cried when I walked down the aisle to I walk the line by Johnny Cash.

The DIY Details

Toia put together the bride and bridesmaid flowers and the table flowers, as well as the invitations. Her parents made the burlap table runners, the cheese board guest gifts, a guest signing book and the burlap chair bows.

The Inspiration

Toia's love of vintage and the way it effortlessly combines well with rustic features. The venue, Lamonts at Bishops House is situated in the old Bishop of Perth's house which is a beautiful heritage listed building dating back to the 1800s.It matched perfectly with the theme. We kept the wedding small opting for only 40 close family and friends to enjoy a long table degustation dinner.

We promised you gorgeous. And didn't we deliver?

We're just so head over heels for this delightful couple and their effortlessly elegant wedding day. And feeling utterly inspired by their decor, aren't the ladders with the doily bunting just so lovely?

Oh, and how could we forget, how amazing is their proposal story? Props to Daniel for having the guts to bring that incredible ring into the sea with him (and not dropping it!).

Thanks so much to Toia and Daniel for sharing their beautiful rustic and retro wedding day with us.
