We love, love, love a good fiesta-inspired fête (see one of our all time faves here!), so as soon as we laid eyes on Marissa + Greg's colorful and fun Leo Carrillo Ranch celebration, we were definitely smitten! Their day had all the necessary essentials for good 'ol party. A gorgeous backdrop, yummy food + cocktails, and vibrant decor. And best of all, everything present suited these cuties to a T.

From the bride, We are both Mexican so we wanted to incorporate elements of our culture into the decor. Also, we noticed a lot of weddings were using muted, light color palettes. We wanted to break away from that and do something that better fit our personality and better represented us as a couple. We wanted our wedding to be less of a traditional wedding vibe and more of an eclectic look and feel.

We're totally digging the fiesta-style decor, especially that awesome escort card display!

Greg: Seeing so many people enjoying themselves and sharing such an amazing event with all of them. The wedding couldn't have gone any better. Marissa looked beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, and the DJ was spot on! I honestly don't have one specific moment that really stood out because I absolutely loved every second of that day.

Marissa: It's so hard for me to pick out a single moment of the wedding day because I loved it all. The ceremony was perfectly short, sweet, and meaningful and the reception was one giant party with tons of dancing. Our family and friends love to have a good time and it was so awesome to celebrate with them. Greg and I dated for 8 years, so the wedding was something that I had been excited about from the early stages of our relationship. I knew early on that he was the one for me, so it was so special to be able to make that commitment and share it with the ones who mean most to us.

HIRE A DAY OF WEDDING COORDINATOR. It made things so easy and we were able to concentrate on enjoying our wedding and not wondering if everything was on time or in the right place. Also, don't procrastinate on planning your wedding. It may seem like a long ways away, but it will sneak up on you fast!
