High school sweethearts Brandy and Nathan both grew up in the country so the lush setting of Fort Edmonton Park was a natural choice for the pair when it came to selecting a wedding venue.

When the wedding day rolled around Brandy says she couldn't wait to walk down the aisle. "I loved the excitement and anticipation of waiting to see my soon-to-be husband," she explains.

After a short and sweet ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour while the bride and groom were whisked away in a horse-drawn carriage to take photos. A reception followed in Fort Edmonton Park's onsite airplane hanger, which was decorated with raspberry pink linens, twinkle lights and towering orchid branch centrepieces. Chiavari chairs and a stunning pink sweet table added sophistication to this airy, modern reception space.

After a down-home barbecue dinner Brandy and Nathan paid homage to their roots with a live country band. "It was so great to see all of our friends and family so happy for us. We danced and celebrated all night long." Brandy reminisced.
