It's clear for us that most of you prefer video tutorials as they are the easiest to follow, and nothing makes us more happy than knowing how many of you find them helpful and motivating. The number of Braided Nutella Star Breads made by you is the reason we believe this video is a huge success. We hope this new Balloon Chocolate Bowls tutorial we have for you will turn out as inspiring for you as other cooking videos made by us.

These super simple Balloon Chocolate Bowls are destined to be a huge party hit, and, what's more, they are so fun to make! If you follow a few simple tips, you'll be able to serve your desserts in these lovely and delicious cups after less than half an hour of work.

What you need:

Tools:

Supplies / ingredients:

  • 300 g / 10 ounces of dark and milk chocolate (in total)
  • Water balloons
  • Cooking spray or oil

So here are our crucial hints :) Remember to use small water balloons as they make cutest bowls :) It's good to inflate them with a tiny balloon pump (they are hard to fill with air). It's also important not to heat chocolate too much - its temperature should be around 30 ºC / 86º F. If you oil balloons before dipping them in melted chocolate, it will ease the popping part (the balloon won't stick to the bowl). When you finish dipping the balloons, refrigerate them for around 15 minutes, and as they are easy melting products, you shouldn't put anything warm into them ;) Chilled pudding, ice creams, fruit and whipped cream will make perfect fillings.

We hope this idea will bring a lot of fun to your parties or your family life (I forgot to mention that it's a great project to make with your kiddos). We're waiting eagerly for photos of your Balloon Chocolate Bowls, so don't be shy and post them below. Enjoy!
