Picture happiness, need one say more than this. The spectacular team of Picture Happiness is sharing one of their masterpieces with us today. The wedding of Jake and Philippa took place at Nooitgedacht Estate and what a fun and happy wedding it was. This couple seems like they really had fun and we are honored to be part of this couple's special day. Enjoy this wedding with us and we hope you will be inspired.

I Propose | Elaborate on how the two of you met or on how the proposal went down.

We met through mutual friends at a weekend away. While I was sitting quietly and drawing, Jake managed to corner me and show me dance/rave songs that he had made on his computer, while his shirt just 'happened' to be off because he had been swimming. We had also spent a lot of time together during the 2010 World Cup. There was one time when Jake and his friends were watching a game at a bar and I arrived late. I sat down next to Jake, ordered a Black Label, and then started complaining that England weren't passing the ball enough. Jake said he almost proposed right then and there. But he managed to wait until December 2012 when he surprised me by flying up to the Natal Midlands to meet up with me and my family. This made me very happy because family is very important to me and I was able to celebrate with them afterwards. Naturally, he proposed in song form. Luckily he had moved on from dance/rave by then.

Bride & Prejudice | Express some memorable experiences you had during the planning.

The most memorable thing for us was being able to celebrate and party with all of our friends and family. This was especially great for us because most of our family members do not live in Cape Town, and this was probably the only time when everyone that we loved would be in the same place. Needless to say, we danced the night away and ended up keeping the party going until about 3am.

My Fair Wedding | Describe an event that you feel was unique or even funny.

It definitely felt like a huge joyful celebration, not only of our marriage, but of the fact that we were all together. We've found that, at most weddings, there seems to be a heightened sense of joy. It was so much fun.

Don't Tell The Bride | Reveal something that happened behind the scenes.

Well, we didn't exactly prepare for the cutting of the cake part of the wedding. When it came round to it we had no idea what to do. People ended up shouting advice to us while we clumsily tried to cut bite size pieces out of a massive cake. We then forgot to feed the cake to each other and had to turn around and go back.

No More Wedding Woes | Share your wedding advice for future brides.

Decide upon three questions together that suit you and your wedding as a couple; and then when faced with tough decisions about the big day, weigh them up against your predetermined questions. For us these three questions were: 1. Does it honour God? 2. Does it honour our friends and family? 3. Does it allow us as a couple to create a space for celebration? This helped us to keep focused and to keep the vision that we had wanted to create for our special day.
