Rustic wild romantic engagement session

Rustic wild romantic engagement session

Continuing our Texan theme today on Wedding Sparrow we have a sweet rustic and romantic engagement session from film photographer Krystle Akin. The bride, Brittney, happens to also be a film photographer from Texas and got asked the special question right before Christmas by her love Sean. They plan to be wed this Autumn with a small intimate ceremony. While we're working hard here in Texas, sit back and take a look at the rustic pretty unfold...

From the bride, Brittney: " I sat nestled in bed wearing a giant tee and fuzzy slippers when he slid the ring on my finger. The night Sean proposed to me was beautifully imperfect, comfortably unstylish and full of the happiest tears I've ever shed. We wanted our engagement session to be similarly relaxed.... with just a tad bit more fashion than our actual engagement. Our shoot began at our favorite local park and ended at a nearby university Sean worked at when we met. On our first date, I asked him for a campus tour. He turned out to be a very uninformative guide, but I wasn't upset- the history of a library building wasn't my top interest that night. We are so grateful for how honestly Krystle documented our relationship in moments of intimacy and laughter. One day, we will look back at these photos with our children and tell them, "this is what love feels like"."
