We're revelling in the sunshine and loving all the sunny weddings we're seeing recently! This beautiful real wedding from Hawaii film photographer Blenda Montoro has us knee deep in the beautiful Hawaiian landscape wishing we were there. The bride Katie even gives us hints and tips on how best to organise a destination wedding...

From the bride: "Ryan and I always knew we would have a destination wedding. One of the most important things to us is traveling and to share that with our closest family and friends was always our dream. Kauai was a perfect fit for us, not only was Oahu our first vacation spot together when we first started dating, but my parents were married in Oahu and Honeymooned in Kauai. The year before our wedding we traveled from our hometown of Los Angeles to Kauai and we immediately knew we had made the right choice. It felt like us. Planning a destination wedding can be a little tricky, so early on we decided we would choose the most amazing team of vendors we could find, keep everything simple and stay focused on what mattered most. Ryan and I becoming husband and wife. It was important to me that our wedding be romantic, timeless and incorporate my favorite color, pink. And I think we were able to do just that. We were married under a gorgeous plumeria tree at the Plantation Gardens Restaurant & Bar. We read vows we had written and had the most perfect rain showers during our ceremony. Just enough to add to this magical moment. After our ceremony we all enjoyed dinner by candlelight on the Lani and ended our evening with a surprise fire dancer and hula show. The look on our friends and family's faces was something that will always make me smile. It was the perfect end to our dream Hawaiian Wedding. The week we all spent together in Kauai, was the best of my life."
