"When Brendan and I first got engaged we knew we wanted to have our wedding outdoors," Katie says. After a somewhat long search for a location, they didn't fall in love with any one area. The couple then realized that nothing would be as perfect as having their wedding at Katie's mom's home. The spectacular view made this venue choice easy.

"We wanted the vibe for our wedding to match the stunning surroundings so we went with a 'country soiree' theme that was simple yet elegant" explains Katie. The area was filled with natural greens, whites, and colourful flowers, home-grown and arranged by Katie's mom herself. The small details were all DIY projects, done by the bride and groom, giving this wedding the overall feeling of being casual and rustic, but elegant as well. Katie shares, "The whole day was so special! We were so happy to see people enjoying themselves and appreciating the hard work we put into the little details."
