Welcome to the weekend lovelies!

We hope you're having a relaxed few days where ever you are (and whatever stage of wedding planning you're at!) and if, like our resident real bride Gemma, you're getting married this week - have the most incredible time and enjoy every minute!

For those of you still deciding on colour themes and guestlists, we've got plenty of gorgeous (and helpful) inspiration on the blog this week, from one of the biggest real weddings we've featured and one of the funnest wedding films ever, to a stunning inspiration shoot and tips on creating a unique cheese wheel wedding cake.

Oh and if you're a sucker for succulents like us, you won't want to miss out on this gorgeous guide with over 50 ideas on how to incorporate succulents into your day.

And the inspiration doesn't end there.

Our super-talented, ever-creative, Rose of Rose and Ruby Paper Co, (check out their latest collection, she creates some of the prettiest paper we've ever seen!) is back with another of her utterly beautiful, entirely idea-laden inspiration boards, and while we don't pick favourites - this is one of our faves!

Take it away Rose.

Retro Romantic 50s Black & White Inspiration Board

Inspired by that most gorgeous dark leafy green backdrop! How romantic is a wall of old fashioned country garden roses! So elegantly retro with the palest hint of blush, that beautiful green and a crisp black suit!

To Recreate:

* Keep it simple and classic with traditional luxurious fabrics; silk satin, crepe, georgette and tulle. A retro style gown or a tea dress will work beautifully! * Retro details like a blusher veil or pretty vintage inspired heels will keep it cute. And that wonderful car would be the prefect accessory for photos! * Perfect for a small and intimate do, this palette is perfect for a pretty city venue, perhaps a very romantic elopement! * Keep your groom smart and sleek in black or charcoal, and maybe even ask guests to stick with outfits that match your colour palette. This will ensure all your photos look super chic!

So chic! And I'm not always one for wedding cars, but that getaway convertible looks seriously romantic, like something out of an Audrey Hepburn movie!

Thanks so much to Rose for being as inspired as always!

If you've missed any of Rose's fabulous inspiration boards so far you can find them all here. And follow all the pretty musings from Rose and Ruby Paper Co. on Etsy, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

P.S. Don't forget, (in most parts of the world!) tomorrow is Father's Day, take a look at these tear-jerking fatherly wedding moments - then give your dad a big hug.
