Farm Engagement shoot - Angharad & Simon

via

Morning folks!!

We have a gorgeous engagement shoot on the blog today.. Sent to us by the lovely Victoria Tyrrell Photography . It's a young love story so get ready for your heart to melt....Over to the county bumpkins Angharad and Simon.

How did you guys meet? - We first met at a young farmers dance when Angharad was 16 & Simon 15. We have know each other for over 10 years.

What was your first date like? We caught a train to Swansea and went to the cinema to watch Dodge Ball. Whilst waiting for the train home we were having a smooch and Angharad came out with a line Simon has never let her forget "once u get me starting kissing I can't stop!"

Who proposed and how? Simon proposed in Central Park on a gondola in New York. We were on holiday together and had been travelling the east coast for 3 weeks. Simon kept the engagement ring at the bottom of his rucksack, which was just as well as I kept rummaging through his luggage looking for a ring. To be honest I gave up hope however he proposed on the last evening of our trip. He booked a table at the Boat House Restaurant which overlooked the Central Park Lake. I couldn't understand why he kept disappearing throughout dinner, he was coming up with excuses such as I need to go to the toilet! He was actually talking to restaurant staff chasing up the food as he was worried we would miss the gondola. Thankfully the food arrived just in time and we made it onto the gondola at the allocated time. We were the only ones on the lake that evening Simon then gave me a note and whilst I was reading he got down on one knee and proposed to me.

Where and when are you getting married? We were married in May 2014 at Bethel Chapel, in a village where Angharad is from followed by a reception at Hammet House in North Pembrokeshire, Wales.

What do you both consider is an important elements of your wedding day? The most important thing to us on our big day is having everyone we care and love being there celebrating and enjoying our special day.

Tell us a little about the engagement shoot and the photographer you have chosen? Our wedding photographer Victoria Tyrrell is a work colleagues wife who had previously photographed a friends wedding. I was amazed how she captured my friends wedding day and knew instantly that I wanted her to photograph my wedding day. She is very talented and so great to be around. She made us both feel at ease. Our engagement shoot took place at my mums farm in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was an opportunity to capture some great shots of the farm so I could treasure my childhood memories. We are so pleased with the results and have so many choose from.

Thanks for sharing guys.. Was so lovely to hear your story xx
