Hannah and her husband Paul, the founders of Cottonwood Weddings, have a portfolio of private estates in the New Forest, which are exclusive and remain a well-kept secret!

Their aim is to ensure their locations are tailored to become the beautiful, bespoke wedding venue that you've been hoping to find.

The portfolio includes a private estate with its own woods and outdoor stage, a farm with converted barn accommodation for your guests, a festival inspired field and private homes, which you can hire for an entire weekends celebration!

Venue #2 Crear

This venue is one of Condé Nast Brides Hot 100 exclusive use venues in the UK. So although set in Argyll, Scotland, Crear is fast becoming a hit with the City sets wanting to make it theirs for the weekend... You can see why - located in a magical landscape on the west coast of Scotland, Crear is a very special place.

This wedding venue is know as the Space to Create and the exclusive use means the house becomes yours for the duration, enabling you to plan your day, your way.

The decor at Crear is very stylish yet comfortable, with squishy sofas, open fires, far reaching views to the Paps of Jura, underfloor heating and huge expanses of glass allowing the outside in - it's perfect all year round.

Venue #3 Clavelshay Barn

Clavelshay Barn is a beautiful rural venue in Somerset that lets you get away from it all. Relax with friends and family in the quintessentially English surroundings, feasting upon the best, fresh and local food.

Clavelshay Barn do not have a licence to marry but they can hold a blessing or humanist ceremony in the grounds, overlooking the valley - a magical spot. Or if you would prefer a religious ceremony, the venue can cater just for your wedding reception.

The food here is incredible and this venue also specialise in beautiful cakes, toppling cheese towers and hog roasts - the perfect sharing food for your boho shindig.

Venue #4 Dewsall Court

I know I'm not technically meant to have favourites. But... I love this venue. I really do.

Dewsall Court is set in 15 acres of beautiful grounds with far reaching views to the Black Mountains and surrounded by 1000 acres of Duchy of Cornwall land. With its ancient church just a short walk through the gardens where blessings and marriages can take place, and various spaces for indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies, it really is your own private wedding hideaway.

A key feature of these stunning grounds is the effective combination of formal gardens and wild meadows. There are also various barns on the property, which remain traditional outhouses. Yurts can be added to the barn, which make great dance floors and chill out areas - perfect for a boho celebration.

Venue #5 Kenton Hall Estate

Driving down the tree-lined avenue, past English Longhorn cattle grazing, you will approach the beautiful Tudor Kenton Hall. A charming and unique wedding venue set in the relaxed Suffolk countryside; Kenton Hall offers a stunning wedding venue and luxury Glamping.

You have exclusive use of a stunning venue and you can even have a woodland wedding blessing -Walk down the woodland aisle and have a wedding blessing (non-legal) under a willow arch.
