Southern Farm-to-Table Wedding Inspiration

Southern Farm-to-Table Wedding Inspiration

Ahh, there's nothing quite like smell of the fresh southern air + the look of an incredible farm-to-table feast! And we love how the team behind today's editorial, led by Kati Mallory Photo & Design + Anne-Claire Allen Planning & Design, took that farm-fresh feeling + translated it into the loveliest setting, sure to inspire couples who love a sweet, rustic look! They went with a beautifully subdued palette and mixed wildflower-inspired floral design with natural elements (like herbs, fruits, and veggies), to ensure the tablescape was both authentic + unique. We definitely wouldn't mind taking a seat at that pretty table! What about you?

More from Kati, There's nothing like fresh, organic flowers and food straight from the farmland here in the South! After a beautiful afternoon drive through parts of Arkansas' farmland, I came across the most magical pecan grove behind The Ashley Alexander House in Scott, Arkansas. Full of beautiful sunlight and so much rich history, I was hooked and knew it would be the most picturesque backdrop for a romantic, "farm to table" styled shoot. Teaming up with the most remarkable vendors and incorporating some interesting textures and tastes (artichokes, peaches, green beans, asparagus, blackberries, etc.) to our floral decor, we aimed to create a whimsical tablescape that would intrigue brides looking for not only a beautiful look, but something with an interesting story, too!

Now there's a perfect country bouquet if we ever did see one!

Who knew an artichoke could function so well (and adorably) as a place card holder!

Whiskey tastings, fruit-adorned bubbly, natural cakes + rustic tarts are all a-ok in our book! This would be such a fun feast to attend, right?!
