A Love Story Timeline

What's a "Love Story Timeline" you ask? Well you will just have to scroll down and find out, but trust us, once you see it you will need one for your big day. Amy and Elliot's Wedding day was filled with equal parts beauty and steal worthy ideas. Be sure you don't miss a single thing by visiting the f ull gallery here, it's chalk full of gorgeous images captured by Aaron Shintaku.

From the Bride

My bridal party told me I was the most calm bride they have ever seen. To be honest, I never really got nervous. I knew I was marrying the man of my dreams and that I had planned a perfect evening for my guests. The feeling a bride has when they walk down the aisle to their groom is something you can't explain. My brother married us, and to be standing under the chuppah with Elliot and my brother, was truly the best moment of my life. I knew from the beginning of the planing process that I wanted a vintage chic wedding with a gorgeous view of the ocean. My vision came true! We chose the L'auberge Del Mar for their stunning setting and the ability to move locations through the wedding. Starting in the park, up to the roof, and then down for the party, was a perfect flow to our big day.

Steal Worthy Idea

Are you looking for a great wedding favor that your guests will not only love but use too! How about giving everyone a jar of you and your honey's favorite spices? Just think, every time they pull it off of their shelf they can think of your fabulous wedding day! Bonus these cute little favor jars worked great as escort cards as well.

The details were very important to me! From our gorgeous farm fresh flowers, to our personalized spice jar favors, the mix of burlap and lace and our story chalkboard, I wanted guests to relish in the special touches and they sure did! My flowers we're incredible! In the beginning, I told Kim, my florist from Art With Nature, to just keep it simple, peonies in mason jars! Her version of this came to life in the most magnificent way. I fully trusted her expertise, sent her some inspiration, and let her go for it. She blew me away and that is not easy to do!

I would have worn more comfortable shoes! NO one sees them...I mean not a single guest! It's better to be comfortable! I LOVED my hair and accessory change. I went back and forth about a dress change, but I loved my dress and wanted to rock it all night. I decided to do a hair change and a belt change instead and everyone noticed and it was fun and felt like a new look!
