Amy & John won a competition I ran last year to find a couple planning something a bit different for their wedding. Amy sent me a wonderful Pinterest moodboard with lots of amazing details for their wedding at Fazeley Studios in Birmingham.

The shoot took place on the streets around the Custard Factory in Digbeth, near to where they're getting married. They'd just bought a gorgeous tandem which made the shoot lots of fun. (They had intended to incorporate the tandem into the wedding but sadly logistics have prevented this.)

One of the things that made me choose them was that as well as all the gorgeous details (including an amazing vintage dress) their day is going to be all about having fun with their family and friends - and the e shoot showed what a great couple they are. The wedding is finally almost here and I just can't wait to share their day with them and capture it for the years to come.

Pre-Wedding shoots are fun

Engagement/pre-wedding shoots are a great way to get to know your photographer better and feel comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. There's time to experiment and have fun, and you get some great images which you can use as part of your wedding day, perhaps as a signing board or book.
