Good morning my loves! It's been a little while since I shared an engagement shoot with you, so this month I've given the b.team a break and we'll be bringing some newly engaged couples to these pages. I do love a good couple shoot, especially when the stars align to combine romance and gorgeous 'golden hour' light just before the sun sets. Candice & Nick's engagement session by Anouschka Rokebrand was shot in with a mixture of digital and film photography, capturing the magic all the more beautifully.
Here's their story as told by Anouschka:
Candice & Nick have known each other for years, but it was just a few months ago sparks started to fly at their local football club. They've been an adorable couple ever since! Last April I photographed the anniversary weddings shoot of Nick's sister Neomi (which was also featured on b.loved!) so they were very familiar with my work and I guess they liked it!
The light was beautiful and sunny at this time of year, so I knew we'd get ah-mazing golden hour light! I shot both film and digital for this shoot. I've slowly started incorporating film photography into my business and I absolutely adore it. So that was also part of the inspiration. To slow down, breathe and watch the beauty unfold in front of my lens. With that stunning light, I wanted the love and light to speak for itself in the images and I'm so happy with how it turned out! I picked a location that has beautiful greenery and added to the soft and romantic feel.
