Quirky Cute Southern Wedding

Quirky Cute Southern Wedding

Liz and Jamie had a rustic, summer farm wedding in Asheville, North Carolina with a mix of Jewish and Christian traditions. Their wedding was about family, fun music, delicious food, and dancing, and overall making sure everyone had a good time.

The florals were playful and colorful and matched the laid back setting. They infused this wedding with their personalities and made it fun for everyone. See more of the quirky cute southern wedding details, including an R2-D2 grooms cake, in the full gallery here, captured by Fete Photography.

Words from The Vendors

There was a Rabbi and a Priest for the service and prior to the ceremony the bride and groom signed the Ketubah (a Jewish marriage certificate) with their family. Liz and Jamie also got married under a Chuppah held by 4 family members. Guests enjoyed dinner on an assortment of vintage plates and could also visit the candy bar or lemonade stand. The groom is a huge Star Wars fan and there was an R2-D2 grooms cake. The bride obliged and even had a lightsaber battle with him (it was only 10 seconds long). Moments like Jamie singing a song to Liz and both of them wearing checkered aprons for the cake cutting made this wedding adorable and sweet.
