If there is one wedding dress trend that isn't going away anytime soon, it's a statement back. And this selection of gowns from Da Vinci's Spring 2015 collection shows just how much "wow" they can add to a dress. From vintage-inspired sheer overlays to daring plunges, there is a statement back for every type of bride.

Looking for statement backs with coverage? Try ones on with sheer overlays or bejeweled lace backs. They offer all the glam elegance of more provocative styles while still leaving you feeling comfortably covered up! Above, this sheer number features a nude zipper and a crystal ivy pattern. Especially because it is paired with such slinky fabric, it adds just the right amount of texture without weighing the bodice down.

Below, these backs are slightly less sheer and feature a column of charming ivory buttons. If you want to draw extra attention to the gorgeous beadwork on your back, use a lace or sheer panel in a slightly darker color from the rest of the gown (below, left).

Do you like a faux-nude look? To create the illusion of a more open back, choose a gown without any beading on the edges around the arms (below, right).

Of course, the most popular statement backs are those that show a little skin. These two options above and below are beautiful examples of sophisticated plunging backs. Above, this back is rounded and sits just above the natural waistline. It is highlighted with a crystal border and 1″ straps, making it feel romantic and traditional. Below, this seductive back is for a bold bride. The deep v back sits right at the waist and also moves a bit more forward toward under the shoulders. The design around the back elongates the silhouette, which is perfect for the overall fit-and-flare style of the gown.
