As you may know by now, we spend far too much time on Etsy.

Etsy, in case you've yet too discover it (apologies in advance to your bank balance!) is an online marketplace, filled with independent makers who create the most gorgeous handmade, vintage, or bespoke creations. And when it comes to wedding planning, so many of our real brides say they'd be lost without it.

But there's a lot on there, and sometimes it's hard to dig out best sellers and prettiest purchases. Which is why we've put our time trawling the site to good use, with our very own curation of picks on the Bridal Musings Etsy Page.

And this week's find is one we think you're going to be excited about, it's the alternative flower crown.

The Crown

We've spoken before about how foliage is having a bit of a moment right now, and this Olivia Flower Crown by Love Sparkle Pretty would make the perfect wedding day adornment for someone looking for all the bohemian whimsy of a flower crown, yet with a simple and current twist.

Made with faux olive leaves and eucalyptus seeds, to create a gorgeous crown that falls somewhere between vintage and Mediterranean styles - we think this would be just heavenly with a long-sleeved lace wedding dress, or perhaps a Grecian style gown.

The Seller

Love Sparkle Pretty belongs to Kayla, a So Cal mom and wife who also adds wedding and event planning to her roster of expertise.

We first came across Love Sparkle Pretty a few weeks back, when Kayla's gorgeous Charlotte crown was featured in Emily and Michael's engagement shoot with Kristen Booth Photography. We headed to her Etsy page and immediately started swooning over her beautiful crowns.

As well as some other gorgeous foliage crowns, (like the The Eve and The Grace crowns below), Love Sparkle Pretty sell lush floral crowns, romantic rose head pieces, simple single flower bands, as well as berry crowns and veils.

We're pretty obsessed with this mother and baby crown as well - too blooming cute!

The Details

The glorious Olivia Crown (just imagine it for a vineyard wedding - how perfect!) is $88/£55.72 - Though Love Sparkle Pretty have some great promotions running at the moment, if you check their shop.

The crown measures 22″ in diameter with an adjustable fit, the band is made with natural vigne metallique, a natural bark covered wire. A heart-shaped felt fabric covers the back of the faux leaves to it's comfortable to wear, all day (and night) long.

Kayla says that her crowns are ready to ship within two to three weeks, though this can be up to five weeks for large orders, so check before you make your purchase, if you're tight on time. Best of all, she ships internationally!
