Our great friends and industry leaders, Custo Photo recently got invited to photograph an international wedding, all the in Marbella, Spain. Marbella is one of the most beautiful and exclusive spots in the Mediterranean and is known for its Luxurious lifestyles. Well, Lauren and Will recently got married there and we are so honored to share this stunning wedding with you. This story has an interesting side to it and Lauren is telling us all about it. Enjoy!

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Will and I met when I came to Spain for a holiday, from the first moment conversation flowed and we felt like we had known each other for years. When I returned back to the UK we kept in contact by email constantly and our relationship grew... I moved to Spain the following year!

Since I arrived in Spain we have hardly spent a night apart. We fit together perfectly, he is the ying to my yang. We complement each other perfectly, I bring a bit of South African craziness into his life and he brings accountant calm to mine.

In our first year together we increased our family with the addition of Molly, she changed our lives and brought us even closer together. Molly takes after her dad and is sweet natured, calm and has a beautiful heart. Last year we increased our family again with the addition of Poppy. She is much more like her mother, unpredictable, goofy and a little crazy... Our greatest wish for the future is to be able to expand our family with non fur children and share our love happiness and joy as a family unit.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

Bless my (now husband), he's not a very romantic sort of guy but tries his best. He arranged a holiday to Portugal for us and our two fur children. We stayed in a beautiful apartment in Vilamoura. We spend a few days sight seeing and evenings just relaxing. On the morning of our anniversary he came to me got down on one knee and said, I didn't get you a card I got you this instead and pulled out the ring! He asked me to marry him and I said yes!

Why Spain?

Our wedding was at the very beautiful Villa Cano, Marbella. From the moment we walked in we knew this was "the place" with beautiful views in every direction,the huge beautiful
gardens and the most spectacular villa we have ever seen, for us it was perfection. We have both always loved the beautiful Spanish climate and incredible views from just about every
area on the Costa Del sol. We couldn't think of a better place to celebrate this special occasion.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Wow this is hard to pick! Our day was so filled with all our amazing family and friends that
had traveled so far to be there, every moment was just incredible. If I had to pick one though it would have to be watching my dad walk my sister down the aisle. She got married 12 years ago in a very non fairy tale wedding but the worst part was my dad was in SA so couldn't give her away. We planned the vow renewal in secret for over a year. So to see both their faces and how much it meant, that would have to be my favorite moment.

If I had to do it again, I would change...

I would get a wedding planner! It was amazing in every way but I think you are able to
relax and enjoy it more.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

Plan well ahead of time and find a good wedding planner! Other than that, know that not
everything will go as planned but you are the only one who knows every tiny detail. Don't
sweat the small stuff, enjoy your day. It goes past way to fast.
