HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all our American readers today! As we sit here with no turkey, sweet potato or any of the delectable pies you're all no doubt eating, spare a thought for us, yes?! At least the rich reds and copper tones of today's styled wedding inspiration from Jake Anderson Photography and Splendid Supply is keeping us in the festive spirit...

From Splendid Supply: "In Minnesota, the color change is absolutely spectacular! While I (Maddy) was designing this shoot, I knew I wanted to celebrate the season by pulling out the fiery reds, copper and caramel browns we see around us. To enhance the richness and warmth of the palette, we used a lot of bright white and incorporated lots of textural elements (including yarn, felt, lace, and wood grain)."

Our team brought to life a crafty and whimsical (but still sophisticated!) backyard wedding concept. We wanted the look to feel intimate and approachable but still elegant, including a charming dessert spread featuring gorgeous rustic style baked goods made by Melissa of the blog The Faux Martha, copper ombre dipped apples with custom engraved bamboo place card picks from Splendid Supply Co.'s custom design service, sweet ceremony aisle garlands from Steph Loves Ben, and a fun and whimsical invitation suite from Minted. Texture and interest was brought in with details like Studio Fleurette's rich arrangements in copper hammered finish vessels, lace detailing on the edge of the salad plates and layered on the skirt of the wedding dress provided by Flutter Boutique, and the stunning whitewashed and distressed wood runner created by Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting. To give it a celebratory vibe, we included a little bit of bling, too - in the form of glitter table numbers, copper flatware, and a custom yarn tassel monogram chair decoration with copper glitter detailing!
