Italian Bridal Inspiration from the Moda e Arte Workshop

The stunning Amalfi Coast was on our bucket list of places to visit so when Sandra Åberg Photography kindly invited us to travel there to attend the Moda e Arte Workshop with some very talented vendors, we jumped at the chance. Surrounded by epic architectural beauty as well as the romantic bridal inspiration created by world reknowned stylist and designer, Joy Proctor Design , we were in fine art heaven. We were joined by not only by Sandra and Joy but also by KT Merry Photography , Pearl & Godiva, Jannie Baltzer and some creative attendees from all over the world. Moda e Arte is an All Inclusive Luxury Workshop in Europe that combines fine art film photography with fashion forward wedding couture photography. From Stylist Joy Proctor: "For this Fall's Moda e Arte Workshop we had the pleasure of shooting at the oldest church on the Amalfi coast, the ruins of the Basilica d Sant'Eustachio in Scala. Complete with marble columns and stone windows overlooking the coast, the Basilica was the inspiration for our shoot. We imagined a girl waiting to meet her lover within the walls of the old church. She picks flowers as she waits, making a crown of candles so that her love might see her face as they exchange a promise of love.

To highlight the beautiful relationship between fashion and weddings, we chose two beautiful gowns to juxtapose the church ruins. The backless Inbal Dror gown paired perfectly with Jannies Balters rhinestone headpiece. For the second bridal look we chose a white Delphine Manivet gown with the most delicate ethereal fabric. The movement in the white gown was the perfect compliment to the heavy textured ruins of the church. The color palette, a sultry combination of deep reds and pinks invoked the true passion of the romance."
