Galia Lahav's 2015 Glam Wedding Gowns ♥
The rare, and superbly sublime, images of Galia Lahav's 2015 Tales of the Jazz Age collection which you are about to see are very special. The glamorous wedding dress collection is so new that it hasn't yet been officially launched. Outside of a few private boutique showings, and the runway shots from October's New York Bridal Fashion Week, this is one of the very first looks at Galia Lahav's 2015 gowns. The sheer paneling, decadent fabrics, lush hand beaded details And let's just take a moment to fawn all over these images from Brittany Berggren shot in Santa Clarita, California - they are beyond perfection! Looking at them is like looking at a painting. The colors are enchanting!
"The inspiration for this shoot was to create a glamorous runaway bride feel with a whimsical fall road. I knew that I wanted lots of that fall soft yellow so I went to a location that suited the spot perfectly, focusing on the models with a subtle kiss of light." shares Brittany. "Hair and makeup was clean but dark. Galia Lahav features a lot of dark eyes in their photos so we wanted to roll with that for Janelle, our brunette model. We also went a little lighter for Jessica, our blonde model, as her skin was light and freckled. For the hair we wanted lots of curls but with a 40′s feel."
Working with make-up artist, Brittany Renee, and hair stylist, Renee Kaehny, Brittany Berggren created magic when she photographed Galia Lahav's glamorous wedding dresses, Joyce & Lana, sourced from Panache Bridal Beverly Hills.
"We took a dirt road in a forest, added gorgeous models and unbelievable dresses, and it all all became a whimsical dream," says make-up artist, Brittany Renee. "The hair and makeup for the shoot were early 1900's retro-glam style which from a makeup perspective, is dark smokey eyes, full thick lashes, a strong brow and heavy contour to the cheeks. I am a huge fan of Galia's work- as both a bride-to-be, and someone who has worked in the bridal business for a long time."
