When dreaming up the gorge winter shoot we're sharing today, photographer, Chandler, of To Wander & Seek + stylist/florist, Amy, of The Conservatorie Floral & Design knew one thing: there would be no pairings of red + green - the color combo we seem to get a bit bombarded with each year immediately following Halloween. The girls wanted to inspire winter brides + grooms-to-be, and all those throwing a holiday dinner or party, to think outside of the box and try a more natural color scheme.

They went with soft greys, velvety blues and pine tree green - remembering that winter is already naturally filled with these beautiful colors. Then, they amped up the elegance + coziness factor with faux fur capelets for the bridesmaids, silk plant dyed ribbons and table runners from Silk & Willow, and lots of comfy blankets + textiles.

The 'maids are wearing the sweetest tulle skirts from the immensely talented Alexandra Grecco. And how much do you adore those WHITE protea bouquets? We're in major love.

Sara of Modern Classic Beauty gave the girls a slightly retro look that fit in perfectly with the setting of the shoot.

Gah, the florals. We can't get over 'em!

The tablescape featured an emphasis on the color indigo, with lots of texture + pretty greenery artfully strewn about. We think this would make a pretty Christmas dinner tablescape, don't you?

We're not sure we've ever seen cakes that look as delish as these babies by Sweet N' Flour! We're all about that organic look that actually tastes amazing, rather than just looks it!

Who else is in the holiday spirit now? A big thanks to the lovely team below for showing us how a gorgeous winter setting, with a natural indigo-inspired color palette, can be achieved with just a couple of key elements!
