How to: The Two-Toned Gold Cat Eye

How to: The Two-Toned Gold Cat Eye

It's obvious that we love the cat eye, but sometimes a basic winged liner look just isn't enough. In comes the two-toned gold cat eye look we're currently fawning over. While it's bold enough to make a statement and turn a few heads, it's still subtle enough to look work-appropriate. So, take out the glitter and let's take this beauty staple to the next level!

Step 1. Using an angled brush and black cream eyeliner (we used Make Up For Ever Aqua Creamliner Waterproof Cream Eyeliner in Matte Black) carefully apply a bold, winged cat eye to your top lid.

Step 2. Follow the black winged liner tightly on top with a solid gold liquid liner like Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy. Then press loose, gold sparkle over the liquid liner while it's still wet. Try NYX Loose Pearl Eye Shadow in Yellow Gold.

Step 3. Using the same liquid gold eyeliner, line the inner corners of your lower lash line and ta-da - you've perfected the two-toned gold cat eye!
