One of the most common cries of my heart is, "Travel!" I long to experience places I've read about and seen in travel books. Friends, my list is long and varied: Cape Town, Seattle, Reykjavick, New Orleans, Galway, Prague, Austin... if I sat to write it out it would take all afternoon. It would cover these big cities, but mostly their little known counterparts - the isolated towns, mountains and lakes.

This engagement session captured by Kirstyn Marie Photography reminds me of the longing I have to experience New England. This couple hails from Vermont and their north east style is so apparent in these bright and loving images. It warms my heart seeing them cuddled together by the riverside and windswept, but held close on the dock!

Born abroad, but raised as a Maryland girl through and through, Rebekah knew that her love for weddings made her a perfect fit for the Bayside Bride team. After interning for the blog in Fall of 2011 she worked hard to finish her degrees in English & Media and Communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Graduated and ready to return, she wants nothing more than to pass her love of event planning & weddings onto brides-to-be.
