Ezequiel & Naquita's Monte Bello Wedding - Wedding Friends

Nothing tells a story more than the moment when a bride hugs her parents, like they say a picture is worth a thousand words...Well Genesis Images is sharing Ezequiel & Naquita's Monte Bello Wedding with us today. A loving celebration that certainly had a few people crying. We hope you will be inspired by today's wedding.

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

It was the 5th of February 2007- the first day of our first year at University. A friend had
kept a seat open for me in one of the jam-packed classes. Little did I know that the girl
seated in front of me, who happened to turn around and introduce herself, would one day
be the love of my life. The rest, as they say...

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

I wanted to propose in a way that she would never forget. It's difficult to describe how it
all happened; thankfully it was all captured on video. Have a look at youtube.com/watch?v=4XAJeDwfdCU

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Ezequiel: Our wedding celebrations started off differently- There were no lights, the DJ
was stuck on the road with a flat tyre and thunder storms were imminent. However,
during all these "unfortunate" events- Naquita and I found a secluded bench where we
were able to pause; enjoy each others company and take all the blessings and joy in.
Priceless.
Naquita: I have too many, but the moments that stand out are when we shared
Communion as husband and wife while our favourite song was playing in the
background. Also, having every single person on that dance floor; young and old, avós,
tia's and tio's, all around us- surrounded by so much love and feeling so much excitement
for the gift of marriage that God has blessed us with.

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day

A day where God's blessings were magnified.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

Your wedding day is just the start of an epic adventure to come. If we were to share a
"word of wisdom" to a future bride and groom, it would be to enjoy the entire journey
and appreciate all that your spouse, family and friends do. We so often take so much for
granted. The moment you begin to see that this occasion and all that it entails, is a
blessing, the more you begin to stop sweating over the small stuff and, instead, focus on
what really matters. Your guests will forget the decor, the flowers and even the food, but
they will never forget the emotions and joy of the day.
