Modern Geometric Wedding on a Bridge: Lauren + Jon

Modern Geometric Wedding on a Bridge: Lauren + Jon

via

Ok, so the story of how Lauren + Jon met is straight out of a movie! They worked out of the same building for a while and always passed each other on a bridge between the parking structure and their building. Each time they passed each other on the bridge they would make eye contact and smile. Eventually it progressed to a smile and a "hello". Then, they each started waking up looking forward to their little encounters and would be super sad if they didn't see each other each day! After some time, Jon finally worked up the courage to finally ask Lauren out and the rest is history...

When asked about the inspiration behind their wedding, Lauren says: Since we met on a bridge, we chose geometry to reflect structure and building for a strong future relationship. And with the two of them each being talented designers, trust us, no detail was overlooked. We love that Steve Cowell Photography was there to perfectly capture it all for us to see...oh, and did we mention their ceremony was ON a bridge?! So perfect...

A vibrant bouquet by Melissa Licht was just right for the modern feel of the day!

We're just in awe of the graphic, modern setting Newport Beach Civic Center transformed into for the reception. The Love Riot nailed it with the planning + Melissa Licht lent her hand in bringing together the fab design!
