What I love about weddings right now is they can be anything you want them to be. We are so lucky to live in a time when we can pick and choose what styles, traditions, atmospheres, etc. we want. Being able to incorporate only the things that are most meaningful to a couple is what makes a wedding so deeply personal - and memorable.

And that brings me to this celebration of Michelle and Charles who created a fun, beautiful day that's joyful and relaxed. With an abundance of handmade details and thoughtful attention to the comfort of the guests, this wedding just oozes of charm and personality.

Let's let Charles and Michelle's photographer, Debra of Debra Gulbas Photography, give us the details:

Michelle and Charles were married at Chinquapin Ranch, tucked among the rolling hills of Central Texas. Their wedding was DIY and laid back. Many of the guests came early to hang out while their kids played in the water hole.

After the ceremony, where there wasn't a dry eye in sight, the guests played corn hole, ping-pong, and just on the trampoline.

Their wedding was relaxed, untraditional, and very intimate. Enjoy all the wonderful moments!

I'm inclined to recommend that everyone have a rope swing and river at their weddings now. Look at how much fun those kids are having!
