When it came time for Tjaden to pop the question to Julianne, he chose one of her favourite local hangouts. "It was a Sunday night and we were going out for what I thought was just dessert at a local restaurant. When we parked and TJ started leading me towards my favourite coffee shop, which was supposed to be closed on Sundays, I got a little suspicious. The owner served us our coffees, and I turned to see the whole back of the shop filled with candles. We went to the back of the shop and TJ got down on one knee. We kissed and got to talk about everything that led up to that day," Julianne recalls.

For their big day, the two chose to host a casual al fresco ceremony. "Being able to celebrate with all of our family and friends was amazing. It was great to see everyone and know that they were there supporting us," shares Julianne.

To enhance the family gathering feel, the newlyweds opted for a unique dinner experience for their guests. "I loved our food; we did a custom Mexican meal with tacos and all the sides you could want, served family style of course," says Julianne.
