It's all about cake today as I am super excited to launch the 2015 Wedding Cake Collection by FWS resident cake expert Cakes by Beth! Now I know that Trulovers LOVE cake, you only have to take a look at the number of followers on our Wedding Cakes Pinterest board to see that, but the new Be Different Collection from Cakes by Beth is just all kinds of fabulous!

So enough with the cake tease, I am delighted to welcome the Be Different Wedding Cake Collection by International Award Winning Cake Designer - Cakes by Beth the blog!

Cakes by Beth: My latest collection of wedding cake designs is quite eclectic, displaying a range of styles, shapes and techniques for a wide spectrum of couples. The main focus of the collection is to encourage couples to be different, be themselves, and really express their personalities and passions in their wedding cake, from art and music to the outdoors, for a reception centrepiece that is loved and remembered by their guests. Be yourselves, be different.

Live Laugh Love

Extended three tier cake with pops of colour in the unmistakable Romero Britto style design. The shapes and patterns are hand-painted in bold colours with a contrasting cascade of angular, cylindrical fantasy flowers and outlined leaves. A flying heart and the words "live laugh love" complete the fun yet romantic look.

Nothing Else Matters Scottish Punk Rustic Chalk Two for Joy

This column-shaped cake with double barrel base tier combines black leather with ruffled white wafer paper to put a romantic spin on Heavy Metal. The lyrics to Nothing Else Matters by Metallica are just perfect for your first dance and so I have included them in this design, creating a look of sketched notes on torn paper. Dramatic, edgy and heartfelt.

Distressed, faded tartan, shimmering leaves and red deer antlers stir up memories of Scotland, topped off with a golden wildcat in my signature "climbing creature" design. Bas relief, where tone on tone moulded details are clustered together, is very much on trend for 2015 and here I have incorporated a Highland Nature theme, including thistles, flowers, leaves and insects.

Bleached tree bark in the style of a stack of logs with a chalkboard base and monogram, surrounded by a vintage brass frame. The clusters of flowers are in bright pastel colours for an overall chalky look that would look perfect in a barn or meadow wedding setting.

A classically modern wedding look with soft, feminine ruffles and pearlised wafer paper feathers. A pair of magpie silhouettes, two for joy, add a quirky twist and a beautiful sentiment.
